These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of cleonutbutter.com and to any purchase from Cleo Nut Butter Co ("Cleo Nut Butter Co," "we," "us"). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.
1. Allergens and food safety
All of our products contain peanuts and/or tree nuts (cashews, hazelnuts) and are made in a kitchen that also handles other nuts. If you or anyone you're sharing with has a food allergy, please read the ingredients on each product page and on the jar before eating, and don't eat our products if you're unsure. Products made with honey should not be given to infants under 12 months old. Once opened, please store and use our products as directed on the jar.
2. Product information
We do our best to describe and show our products accurately. Nutrition facts shown on our website are estimates based on our recipes and typical ingredient values; they have not been laboratory tested and actual values may vary slightly from batch to batch. Colors and textures in photos can differ a little from the jar you receive, and natural oil separation is normal. Nothing on our website is medical or nutrition advice.
3. Orders, pricing and payment
All prices are in US dollars and may change at any time. An order confirmation email means we received your order, not that we have accepted it. We may limit quantities, or refuse or cancel an order (for example, because of a pricing or listing error, suspected fraud, or a product that is no longer available). If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout.
4. Shipping, refunds and cancellations
We ship to addresses in the United States only. Delivery times, backorders, damaged items, refunds and cancellations are covered in our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.
5. Using our website
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with how it works. Our name, logo, product names, label designs, photos and text belong to Cleo Nut Butter Co and may not be copied or used without our written permission. If you send us reviews, photos or other content, you allow us to use them in connection with our business, and you confirm you have the right to share them.
6. Third-party services
Our store runs on Shopify, and payments, shipping and some other features are provided by third parties with their own terms and privacy policies. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we aren't responsible for their content.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our website and products are provided "as is," and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date at the top will show when they were last updated.
